Cacao Smoothie

Cacao Smoothie
1 large smoothie

This recipe has had many incarnations and is ever evolving.
It was originally sweetened with agave,
which I no longer use in any of my recipes or my diet.
I have tried Medjool Dates and Honey
to balance the bitterness of the Cacao, both are delicious.
I maintain a freezer full of ripe frozen bananas
still in their yellow jackets and happily attached to their bunch mates.
I take out what I need each morning and then let them sit
for five to ten minutes before peeling and slicing,
a beautiful time to go outside and experience the early morning
and the newness of each day.
Here is the current incarnation:

all ingredients raw and organic

2 Large Frozen Bananas,
thawed for five to ten minutes,
sliced into large chunks, and peeled
2 Tablespoons Cacao Powder
1 Tablespoon Coconut Butter
1 Tablespoon Macadamia Nut or Pecan Butter
3 Tablespoons Honey or 3 moist jumbo Medjool dates
contents of 1 Probiotics Capsule
2/3 cup Cold Water

Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender
and whiz together till very smooth.
Pour into a large mug or glass and
