It is with great joy
that I share with you the message of
Greeting The Day,
a daily practice of positive affirmations and gratitude.
As the sun rises and the day begins a special energy unfolds.
By finding a sacred space outside to greet each day,
the magic of this energy becomes woven into our lives.
We experience the Spirit of the Dawn, the Spirit of Rebirth.
Greeting The Day
May I be reborn to this new day.
May I see more clearly my path.
May I follow the lights to my destiny.
May I be joyful and loving along the way.
May my thoughts be empowering, my words kind,
and my intentions sincere.
May I give and receive in honesty.
May my actions be those of a god walking on two legs.
May my heart beat with the exhilaration of my existence
and may it burn with the passion of a goddess dancing with fire.
May I rise to meet the challenges on my path
and pass through to a greater reality.
May I honor The Great Spirit,
The One Energy in All - in Everything.
May I become One with The Great Spirit -
this Energy of Greatness and Oneness.
May I lose myself and become greater in the process.
May I find myself and become more me in the process.
May I learn the art of living.
May I delight in the gift I have been given.
May I encourage others to see their paths more clearly
so that all can be joyful and productive.
May we live together in beautiful harmony.
May I honor The Great Mother who holds our lives in her breast.
May I show gratitude each day for her kindness and love.
May I lie close to her and hear her heartbeat.
May I support her and love her as she supports and loves me.
May I greet the Sun rising before me like a blossoming lotus
reminding me of the daily process of rebirth.
Warming my heart with his fire,
inspiring me to bring passion to all that I do today.
May I call on the Powers of
The East, The South, The West, and The North
to bring harmony and balance to my world.
May I learn the teachings of these four creative forces
so I may be better able to help heal our Mother, our Home.
May I greet this sacred space I come to each morning
and thank it for its loving embrace.
May I greet all of the beings who surround me.
The plants and the trees, the clouds and the breeze.
Those who crawl beneath my feet and those who sing high in the trees.
May I silence my mind and listen closely with my heart
so that I may hear your messages.
May I greet the beings unseen.
The Animal Spirits, The Spirits of Nature, The Star People,
and The Angels who are always close by.
May all of these beings seen and unseen be my friends.
May they be lights on my path and may I be a light for them.
May I join with all of the co-existing parts of my self.
May I merge with their energies and share in their gifts.
May I learn from their lessons and take pleasure in their joys.
May I connect with my Central Soul whose Sacred Geometry
helps give my soul structure and purpose.
May I receive guidance from my Central Soul
and may my Central Soul be a beacon of strength for me.
May my family and I receive protection throughout this day.
May I be deeply appreciative of this protection.
May I continually take my own power throughout this day
and not allow myself to be controlled by others.
May I send healing rays of love to all beings
and may I celebrate the bliss of our true oneness.
May I express deep gratitude to those who are helping me,
to my guides and teachers.
May we join together each day
and create the magic of why we are here.
May we join in love.
Thank you Great Spirit.
Thank you Great Mother.
Thank you to all beings everywhere.
Breathe in the life of each new day
this mystery waiting to unfold.
An opportunity to grow and to transform.
An opportunity to create and to become one with creation.
As we move through our days
let the energy of rebirth be with us.
Let us emerge as ourselves -
each an individual energy of brilliant creation.
Each with our own divine purpose, our own lighted path.
Our own light within.
