EMAIL MARKETING

Through Spirit of the Dawn Weekly, our weekly newsletter, and other mailings we are able to let subscribers know about our latest news, offerings, blogs pieces, and podcast interviews.

Our email marketing company is Ontraport. When someone signs up for Spirit of the Dawn Weekly, they provide their email address and first name. Ontraport will also store their IP address and provide us with city, state, and country location for the subscriber. At the bottom of each email is a place to unsubscribe from non-transactional mailings.

TRACKING TOOLS

Tracking tools provide analytics for site owners and are an important part of running an online business. They provide user data that helps tremendously in understanding how our audience interacts with our offerings. Spirit of the Dawn tracks visitors and users so that we may continue to create an ever-evolving platform that engages and inspires.

Spiritofthedawn.com tracks visitors and users via Lucky Orange Reports. Lucky Orange collects anonymized IP addresses, country, and usually city and province or state. It also collects user activity at the site (pages visited, time spent on each page), referral source (Google search, Facebook, etc.) and browser and devise used. This information is stored for 30 days.

COMMENTS

We appreciate receiving comments at the bottom of blog pieces and podcast interviews.

Comments made after a blog piece or podcast are put into the WPDiscuz Plugin system. There is an optional checkbox requesting that no information be stored. Spirit of the Dawn will receive information regarding name and email provided, plus IP address.

CONTACT FORMS

Often potential guests, students, and clients write to Spirit of the Dawn with specific questions. Information is collected through Contact Form 7 so that we may send a return email. Information collected includes name, email address, and IP address.

AFFILIATE LINKS & REFERRALS

Spiritofthedawn.com may contain affiliate links to third-party vendors including Amazon. They may also contain referral links to businesses that we use and recommend. Cookies may be placed in a browser when an affiliate link is clicked. If a visitor continues with making a purchase at the third-party vendor and the affiliate code is linked to Spirit of the Dawn, Caroline Ra will receive some compensation.
